Single Spies (October 2019)
The Little Theatre is pleased to offer its facilities for private hire. The Bar Lounge makes an impressive venue; during the daytime, the main auditorium and studio theatre may be available, depending on show dates. UPPER FOYER GALLERY
As part of the Society’s commitment to the enjoyment of all the arts, the upper foyer gallery gives an opportunity for local artists and photographers to display their work. Both one-man and club shows are welcome. If you or your club wish to exhibit, please contact Bob Morley.
THE BAR LOUNGE
A popular meeting and socialising venue for members and audience alike, our bar lounge is open Monday to Saturday 6–11pm (2–11.00pm on matinée days) for the sale of alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, tea and coffee. Interval drinks may be ordered beforehand at the bar.
We can provide seating for up to 60 people and a large screen is available for presentations. The venue can be hired for a morning, afternoon or for a full day.
STUDIO
The Haywood Studio is an intimate space for a smaller audience of around 50. It is a fully functioning theatrical venue with staging, sound and lighting managed by a regular team who are dedicated to the innovative productions that might otherwise not be produced at the theatre, catering for adult and sometimes challenging themes. It is home also to Youth Theatre and workshop activities. The Studio and our rehearsal rooms in Albion Street are available for hire. Please contact the Theatre Manager for more details. We have a wide range of period costumes available for hire, many of which have been used in Leicester Drama Society’s productions at The Little Theatre. We provide excellent quality garments and a friendly personal service, catering for all your needs from complete theatrical productions to individual hire.
