Youth Theatre Autumn 21 Juniors

25 September 2021–10 December 2021

Studio and 52 Albion Street

Youth Theatre Senior Group Autumn Term

First class drama training and experience for 8 – 12 year olds

9:00 – 10:30 Saturdays

The first term takes place 25th September – 4th December with a break for half term on 23rd October

Taking place at 52 Albion Street, our rehearsal spaces just around the corner from the main theatre.

Based at The Little Theatre in Dover Street, Leicester, the LDS Youth Theatre Junior Group provides first class drama training and experience for 8 – 12 year olds.

Drama Workshops are fun!  They increase confidence and communication skills which are important for many careers.  They also enable you to work with new friends with similar interests.

The Youth Theatre is an important part of Leicester Drama Society. Youth Theatre members are actively encouraged to audition for LDS productions whenever suitable young parts occur.  At 16, Youth Theatre members automatically also become full members of the LDS and therefore can participate in any LDS activities.

Workshop sessions are held every Saturday during term time. These workshops provide valuable training in drama skills and the LDS Youth Theatre members perform regularly at the Little Theatre, in their own productions.

Many of our Youth Theatre members go on to university and drama schools, leading to careers in Theatre and the Arts.

Come along and discover what our first-class workshop sessions can offer you.
